Hello!
My name is Michael Zhang. I am a multidisciplinary designer with a focus on product and footwear design. I graduated with an Industrial Design degree from the Rhode Island School of Design.
I enjoy working with my hands, constantly sketching, building, making, and fiddling. When I design, I like to incorporate influences from my surroundings and experiences while still maintaining a very functional approach. I think design is most intriguing when all aspects are considered and have a specific reason for existing.
In my free time, I find myself drawn to exploring new ways to communicate my designs and interests with others. I am currently working on my ongoing project to merge my childhood love of Pokémon with my current love of sneakers (check it out on Instagram!).
